Duty calls and Christmas balls.
I’m an entrepreneur who happens to love reading, writing, and thinking about things. I’m not one of these self-help guru hacks who write pointless articles about marketing, how to get clients, yada yada yada. I didn’t start this website in order to make money. But hey, when your website gets 50k hits per month, might as well right?
Want to know a secret? Write bad ass stuff that helps people. I think I’ve succeeded somewhat in doing that.
What am I doing? I’m building another company. I literally took a four month vacation, became famous on Quora from two posts, then got kicked and banned from Quora 5 times, and developed an audience of thousands, all because I wrote what I thought to be simple, common sense stuff. It turns out most folks really liked it (except the high up’s pansies at Quora) – which is great.
But now I have to say good-bye.
I’m jumping out of the armchair and back into the fray. I’ve enjoyed getting to know a lot of you and hearing about your future plans. I hope that what I’ve written and the insight I’ve shared has helped you.
Finally, I want to leave you with one piece of advice – the path to riches isn’t working as an employee in Corporate America. Ahhh yes, that’s nice isn’t it? Let it sink in for a few more seconds. Ohhh schnappp, now you’re getting it. Now go quit your damn job!
That’s it. Peace. Chau. Tchau. Adios.
P.S. If you miss me, you can always catch me on Twitter.
P.S.S. If in the very super rare occasion that I somehow have a bit more time than I think, I’ll do a day-by-day look at me building the company. I doubt I’ll have that much time tho.
